Seventeen Longhorns have been drafted into the College Football Hall of Fame, while four are cherished in the Pro Football Hall of Fame.

The Longhorns have played their home diversions in Darrell K Royal– Texas Memorial Stadium (in the past just "Commemoration Stadium" and "Texas Memorial Stadium") on Joe Jamail Field since 1924. The Longhorns fought the Florida Gators to a 7– 7 tie that day.
